In your opinion, how has war evolved from the past to present? Please use examples to justify your opinions.
In my opinion, war indeed has evolved from the past to present. War has evolved in many ways. For example, weaponry have become more advanced (eg. guns,amour) and also nuclear and chemical warfare have also been introduced. Many weaponry vehicles and aircraft have become more advanced and able to have more functions (eg. better control,unable to be detected, faster speed) and this make them even better and more dangerous than before than before. This will result in war in the present becoming more serious than before as technology becomes more advanced. Hence, war should be prevented as it will be a bigger problem than before.
Hi John Li Yuan here. I agree with you that war is getting more and more dangerous than before, as the weapons and weaponry that are used is more and more advanced. After that, you ended your post by saying that war should be prevented. I think this is right, as the war is definitely now more destructive. Although most of us write about the same thing for this post, till now the only one who write a conclusion is you(from what I see).

ReplyDeleteI am Jia Neng. I agree with you weapons have become more advanced. In the past, technology is not very advanced. Hence, in wars, soldiers use weapons like swords, shields, bow and arrow, etc... They are not that "high-tech" so it will not be very strong. Over the years, people invent/build better and strong weapons. The weapons can allow the soldiers to attack more effectively. The weapons include guns, cannons, etc... In a nutshell, wars would be more destructive and should be prevented.

ReplyDeleteI am Jerome. I agree with you that war is now more dangerous as before with the advance in technology. Nowadays, military weapons such as bombs can take away lives of many people and military vehicles and aircraft are more advanced, having more useful functions that can cause lots of damage to others easily.
But there are also many ways war has evolved from past to present. For example, wars nowadays are more inactive as people have better things to do than to start a war. Wars nowadays are also unnecessary as governments now know how to handle things well.
Overall a blog prompt with reasonable factors and expressions.
